The other week Kevin and I were able to spend almost every night together doing a 'date night'. On our first date night we went to see vaxxed. I was over the moon excited that we were finally able to see this movie! I have been dying to see vaxxed since it was made. I wanted to see it so badly I almost made a 6 hour drive to see it but we were able to get one of theaters in town to agree to play it so we only had to make like a 10 minute drive. I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that we didn't make the 6 hour drive to one of the tour stops and got to watch the film and meet the people involved in making it but we got to see it and thats what really matters, I think we have been pretty clear on our stance on medical interventions and vaccines so I am sure my excitement over this is no surprise. We tend to be the odd people out because of our stance so you can imagine how comforting and relieving and refreshing and how truly amazing it felt to be surrounded by people who felt the same way as we do. On our second date night we went to a natural class at my doctor's office. And again it was nice to be surrounded by people who feel the same way we do. The class was a little boring as we already knew most of the information being presented but it gave us an excuse to spend a night out together.

My weird hippy hobbies

We spent Saturday just laying around and doing nothing but relaxing. Every now and then everyone needs a day to do nothing so that is what we did. On Sunday we cleaned up the house a little bit. Today we did a lot of work! The one thing I wanted to get done this weekend was to get my banana plats separated so that they have a chance to get acclimated before it comes time to bring them inside for the winter season. I now have four banana plants and two of them are growing pups so hopefully if they all survive being split from the main plant and put into their own pots I will have a minimum of six banana plants! Pretty soon we will be in the banana plant selling business. This summer has been amazing for the banana plants and my lime tree, they have grown like crazy in the past two months.
