Apples apples apples and more apples

Kevin and I are both tired of apples already. Last night while Kevin was peeling apples he yelled "Why are we even doing this whats the point?" The point is in the long run it is slightly cheaper and way way way healthier. Plus if there is ever a zombie apocalypse we will be somewhat prepared. I just want to take a moment to brag about Silas. Last night towards the end of training everyone got 5-10 minutes to work on the come command in private with the trainer, during our time with the trainer she told me that she normally never says this but Silas is a very good dog and she really enjoys having him in the class. Silas is by far the most advanced one in the class (and the youngest). While I feel like this class is helping both him and I, I also feel like it is holding us back a bit. We are always at least one or two chapters ahead of everyone else, and I know Silas is far from having perfect behavior and that moving slowly with the rest of the group does help reinforce everything he has learned. The trainer is also great, Silas and I are always there about 15 minutes early so she works with us and talks with me about what and how to work with him on for the week until everyone else arrives. Anyway back to the apples...... We have already canned over a gallon of apple butter and have a lot more to get to. Today we started cleaning out the garage to fit the new shelf thing and freezer we got and also so we can park in there once it starts to get really cold.

I wanted one that stood up like a refrigerator but Kevin found this on craigs list and it is less than a year old and in what looks like perfect condition.

Today was also barkbox day!!

Silas loves these!

Barkbox has a weird way of knowing things we need/want each month. few weeks ago I told Kevin I thought we needed a first aid kit for Silas since we go to the dog park so much and they put these in the boxes this month.

We were actually supposed to get the same liver treats that we were in last months box but last minute they decided to switch it to these.
