Happy Birthday Silas!

Today Silas is officially a big boy and he definitely partied hard. (I'm sure we are now facing a week full of tummy troubles) For his birthday we got him some new balls (he doesn't really like them), a varsity ball (he is slowing warming up to it), a birthday cake toy (I found it on clearance about a month or so ago and thought it was cute so I saved it for him), I made him an as low as possible allergy birthday cake, and we took him to Quaker Steak and Lube for dinner.

He wasn't too sure of the ball at first.

Isn't it cute? Each 'layer' is a ring and can be slid off.

I was going to write happy birthday on it but it wasn't working so I 'drizzled' it instead.

I baked it from scratch so be jealous.

He loved it!

So Quaker Steak and Lube's outdoor patio is completely/always dog friendly. I had no idea you could bring your dog but I saw on facebook they were having a Yappy Hour(an event for a local rescue group) and you could bring your pup to dinner tonight. Silas behaved wonderfully I was surprised at how well behaved he was, I guess our classes are starting to pay off.

Silas' set up

At the end of our dinner they brought out Silas a doggie sundae. It was a special frozen yogurt with a dog treat on top. He loved it!

I thought the Ketchup was fun. And this is now my favorite restaurant because I was watching as they bused the tables around us and they clean the inside of each cap so there is never any dried up or gooey ketchup mess in the lid!!!!!!

And they have cool straws.

He is now passed out.
