Happy 4th of July

On the 4th I got I up early and went to the zoo with my family. Kevin couldn't go because well #1 he says he doesn't really like the zoo and #2 he was just getting home as I was getting ready to leave because he had to work. After the zoo I headed home to finish the cleaning I started the day before but was unable to complete because of our play date. Later Kevin and I went to dinner at Dickey's Wild Hare. I had crab cake sandwich and it was actually pretty good. Kevin tried it and didn't like it, it is probably the one and only food I like that Kevin doesn't. Who would have thought that day would ever come?! We then headed over to the firework store and bought some sparklers and bottle rockets and fire cracker things and two small fountains. My mom came over to babysit Silas while we went to the IPFW firework show. I didn't think it was very good. My mom said Silas was nervous for about 15 minutes after we left, then he wanted to play for about 5 minutes and then he laid down until we came home. After we got back from the show Kevin, Silas, and I headed out back for a fire (my mom went home). Somehow we started talking to the neighbor behind us and actually ended up hanging out over there for an hour or so. I was very excited about that because I like to know stuff and we don't know very many of our neighbors so it basically made my night! While we were there he mentioned how his dog didn't like Sullivan at all and he was amazed at how quiet they were and how Silas never barks. (They have chihuahuas) Our Independence day was pretty good.

This has become a favorite place of his. I have no idea why because he hates to get a bath.
