The fireworks had been bothering Silas except for when he was really tired, like on the nights he came home from daycare, so we had Sullivan over for a play date. I thought if they played all afternoon and we took Silas for a walk in the morning on the 4th then he might have an easier time during all the fireworks that were sure to come. Amy dropped Sully off around 1:30 and by 3:00 they were done playing and napped until Kevin came home then they played for maybe another 30 or 40 minutes and then napped until I took Sully home around 8:30. It is very interesting to watch the differences in their play style while they were here verses when they are together at Nana's on Saturdays. While they were here there was almost absolutely no barking maybe a few here or there and they weren't very loud at all, in fact our neighbors were impressed/shocked. They also weren't as rough, don't get me wrong they definitely wrestled roughly but it just wasn't as rough as normal. And the biggest shocker of all: they NAPPED! They had no problem being separated from each other and napping, in fact it was their choice I kept trying to get hem to play.

Hey mom, Sully and I love my pool! |
Sully actually lays down in the pool. |
Here Sully play with my pig. |
Ok, now give it back. |
They liked looking out the door and barking at people walking by. |
Their favorite thing to do was lay down. |
