Silas Problems

Bad things always happen when Kevin is away. Yesterday was a pretty relaxed day. Silas and I got up around 10 and I tried to feed him breakfast but he only ate about half of it and then slept most of the day. I did a lot of laundry and picking up. Silas finally finished his breakfast around 4:30 so I immediately put out his dinner sine I didn't know how long it would take him to eat that. (he finished it around 11) Around 7:30 he was outside when I heard him barking (something he doesn't normally do) so I went to check on him. He had his head in what looked like a hole of some sort, then these little things came scampering out of it. At first I thought he was being attacked by chipmunks but then I saw one up close and they were baby bunnies. I was horrified. He only got a hold of two of the five, one of them he dropped after only about a second of picking it up and the second he held in his mouth and ran through the yard playing with it and trying to get me to play too. It was awful and I had no idea what to do with it once I got it away from Silas (that would be a Kevin thing) so I called my mom who didn't know so she called my sister. Melanie and Mitchel came over pretty quickly and Mitchel took care of it for me. I don't know what he did nor do I want to know, in my mind he checked it over and it was fine so he found the others and they are all living happily ever after.
